My family loves Asbury Woods, we go there several times per year. They have great programs for children and adults. I would highly recommend the Scary Creature Feature and Maple Fest.

Armed with some bug repellent and a water bottle, Asbury woods hiking trails provide a nice getaway and exercise for the whole family. Path selections can make it either short or long excursions. Watch out for occasional bikes and mud after prolonged rains.

There are at least five trails to choose. Difficulty from easy on a Boardwalk (1/4 mile) to the 2.2 mile Greenway Trail. The Nature/Visitor center is packed with interesting exhibits and the gift-shop has many interesting items. I bought some locally-farmed honey and a science-of-bubbles...More

There are some very large trees here. Well worth the short walk to see them. Take the Boardwalk Trail that starts near the building. Right near the spur for the wetland is an unmarked ramp down that is the Meteorite Trail. Turn left at end...More

This is a wonderful place to walk and observe nature. Each season has it's wonder here. Fall is spectular and winter snow shoeing is always an adventure.

Snow - if we have it - won't hinder your travels. In fact, it makes it quite beautiful and quiet. If there is a lot of snow (6 inches or more) overnight, you might want snowshoes or cross-country skis because the trails... More

There are areas that are fine for all types of strollers. However strollers with bigger wheels will allow you to go just about anywhere.
