The History of the 28th Div was very good but it lacked a lot of military equipment on the grounds. There could have been more information on the history of the grounds that the Museum sets on.

Lovely grounds with memorial statuary. Small but interesting displays. Small gift shop. Kind of wheelchair accessible -- the floors aren't flat, but they're navigable. It was a quick walk through.

My husband and I found ourselves behind a school guided tour. We were going to walk around them and go on the self guided tour, but we decided to "tag along". The tour guide was a Vietnam Vet himself and gave a very description of...More

We spent less than 30 minutes indoors at the museum. Kids under 10 looked at the cars and some weaponry, then we ready to head outside and climb the tank out in front. The grounds are very nice. The creek runs through the monuments which...More

The Museum offers both inside and outside visitor experiences. The vast outdoor area includes military equipment from different wars, a beautiful walking loop, and a solemn memorial shrine dedicated to Pennsylvania's 28th Infantry. A newer obelisk pays tribute to local soldiers killed in the Iraq...More

For residents of Central PA, where there are few, if any, major cultural or historical sites, as well as for families just passing through the State College/Penn State area, this is a great site to check out. Located in nearby Boalsburg, PA, this museum also...More

We enjoyed strolling along the outdoor walkways and huge grassy areas to see the artillery and monuments. The indoor museum and store provided even more to explore. What a nice tribute to Pennsylvania's veterans. A special bonus was being greeted by the many friendly dogs...More

I've been going here since I was a kid. I've always found new and interesting exhibits. I took my kids here and am looking forward to taking my grand son's here.

My favorite part is the ground. The wall that showcases those who have died in World War 1 and World War II and beyond is worth the drive from anywhere. Touching the etched names of those who gave their lives brings this historical place alive....More
