It's a patch of lawn in front of the Ocean Cove Inn. It has a whale tail sculpture. There's supposed to be a spout of water but I never saw it. Cute idea but...

We like to stroll through Yachats and often come of the whale...great peice of locla color, near one of the favorite hardware stores on the coast...everything you need but might have forgot...cute kids river shoes.

We enjoyed watching the intermittent mist shooting into the air to simulate a whale spouting, as we dined nearby in the heart of Yachats.

It is always fun to watch the "whale" spout! I love it enough to wait for spout after spout. He was on vacation for the winter when we were there in March but will be back come spring.

I don't know where you'll find another little park with a whale sculpture quite like this one! Just north of the Yachats River, on the east side of Hwy 101, you'll find tiny Whale Park. Don't blink or you really will miss it... Whale Park...More
