Easy to access from a parking lot off the road and wonderful scenery. The beach is tucked in a cove of rocks, so the wind was pretty tame.

Great tide pools when the tide is out awesome agates and just a great beach. Be aware lots of stairs to get to the bottom and can get tight on parking. Lots of sea birds, seals, and even a sea otter. We saw a Orca...More

Beautiful scenery. Go at 1-2 hours before low tide and enjoy the tide pools and all the incredible colors and variety of sea life. There is a volunteer there to answer questions but mostly it's unguided tours. We did see seals swimming off the shore...More

We are from Utah so tide pooling is pretty different for us to do. Over a 20 year period, we have come to this exact location 4 times now. We absolutely love it here. It doesn't get a lot of foot because it's not easily...More

Nice little wayside. Clean restrooms handicap accessible. Picnic tables. Great place to spot whales. We saw 3 feeding just off the coast.

Love this spot!!! It does take some doing to get down to the beach. Although most of the way is paved and railed there is a portion of it that you have to walk on rocks and over a few driftwood logs. Once you get...More

This is the best rugged shoreline with offshore rock formations north of Bandon. It's a must stop if you are going no further south than the Newport area. A camera is a must!

We went mussel collecting under low-tide conditions, and we did not come back empty-handed. Good size but encrusted with lots of barnacles. Nevertheless, we found plenty for moules mouliniere later. Also a beautiful beach with lots to explore. And great for running your dog.
