We live near the trail, so we walk or dogs, bike, and ride our horses on the trail. It's a converted rail line, so it has gentle slopes. The surface is part old pavement and a lot of well-packed gravel.

Hiked several sections when looking for geocaches. Just wish that there was somewhere nearby to be able to rent a bike.

Lovely (sorta paved) trail for walking or biking! Some people even ride their horses. It used to be a road for the logging trucks.

Walking to the dike or higher up Scappoose-Vernonia Highway, this is a lovely and easy walking trail. I used it to train for Portland to Coast with my team.

Great trail to explore from Scappoose to Vernonia. Good for mountain bikes because the trail is not paved but a great views of nature and wildlife. Highly recommend.
