We enjoyed our stop at the tasing room here at FireSteed Cellars. Skyler pouring at the tasting room was informative and a lot of fun. We have drinking their Pinot Noirs for years, and we were pleased to visit the winery in person. Definitely worth...More

Firesteed Winery is always one of our stops when we visit the Salem, Oregon area. We visited the winery early on a Saturday and had the staff all to ourselves! We had quite an education. Very personable staff and manager. The Small Batch Rose is...More

Only a few miles west of Salem, Oregon, in rolling countryside, the tasting room for Firesteed wines is fun and relatively inexpensive to visit ($10 for small-but-adequate samples of 5-6 wines; $15 for scarcer types and vintages). Water and good cheese crackers are readily available...More

We traveled up to Firesteed for both wine and lunch, and both were wonderful. Not only that, the little patio is in the shade with wonderful flowers in full bloom all around. It's the perfect place for a laid-back lunch, a little off the beaten...More

Their Citation Chardonnay is one of my wife's favorites in Oregon. Their Ballard Road Pinot is mine. Enjoy a glass at the table beneath the wine arbor in the summer and pick table grapes from it.

A nice selection of vines for tasting. Not in the Newberg area and far enough from Portland to have a reasonable tasting cost of $5.00. Especially like the rose, a lot more character than the usual and the Riesling was less sweet than most with...More

Stopped hereover the tday weekend, I've always liked their wine so I thought I would check it out. Ladies in the front room ( cash registers) were very nice.. The heavyset gal with long brown hair doing the pouring in the cellar was terrible, seemed...More
