Great hiking trails with trail lengths and difficulties for all levels. Well maintained and clearly labeled. Bring your camera and enjoy bird watching, incredible trees, iconic sight seeing, and lush forests.

There is a visitor center and gift shop. There are rehabilitated birds on display and the people here are knowledgable. There are trails in Forest Park all around. a very wonderful Portland/NW place to visit.

I have known of this for quite some time; however, only recently went. Visited the gift shop and then decided to take the mile loop through the forest and discovered an immense amount of beauty in a relatively small place. Gorgeous!

The sanctuary on Cornell road is just that - a quiet sanctuary, despite being so close to the urban area. The natural world is the “entertainment” here. And the Nature Store shop is a cozy spot where you can browse and buy. Take yourself or...More

This location was recommended but were mildly disappointed. Parking was very limited with road construction going on directly in front. The staff didn't greet us when we entered (goodwill donations). No talks or events going on. Saw only an owl and a raven. Walked along...More

I hiked the trails in the Audobon. Conditions were dry so I was disappointed to not see that much wildlife. I could have enjoyed the hiking itself more if the signage was better. I found myself getting lost and there aren't that many miles of...More

Stopping here was a bonus on our way to visit Forest Park, just 10 min outside of downtown Portland. Interpretive center, gift store, and a network of hiking trails.

Had family visiting from out of town, we had a great time meeting Ruby the Turkey Vulture and a Raven. The volunteers are great at educating you and sharing stories. We hiked a few trails and had a delightful time.

I'm not sure but I don't think so. I think you'd have to walk a ways from mass transit
