So overpriced for what it is, after a state burn ban went into effect the rangers/state workers here are clearly misinformed on what their own websites say regarding burning or open flames. An outdoor fireplace that can be shut off with a valve ie: propane...More

The area is gorgeous, peaceful..and the fishing is great. So many things to do in the area as well (not to mention the ocean just minutes away!)

Super cute little place. Perfect for us, passing through and looking for a safe place to sleep and have a fire! Private little tenting sites were exactly what we needed and the price was right! Will definitely stay again if we're in the area.

Overall a very nice looking lake that provides good views. This month (April 2018) there was some flooding, so some areas were not accessible, but otherwise well worth the visit, especially on warmer days.

We enjoyed phenomenal weather wth highs in the upper 50s and Lowe 60s and no wind at all and enjoyed walking on the beach every day near our hotel and within the state park and feeding the sea gulls!

Thought this was a lovely campground. We didn't stay here, but I walked through the park and grounds many times. Our hotel was near the entrance to a wildlife reserve type trail that went from D River through the bushes to the campground. The campground...More

Love this little campground. Next to Devils Lake. Nice dock where you can fish or go kayaking. We rented a yurt, $45. per night...affordable lodging on the coast. The yurts can sleep five. They have lights, heat, picnic tables and fire rings. Nice bathrooms and...More
