An interesting collection of big birds. I liked the owls the best. They are all outside and you walk on the path among the large cages. Each bird has a story. We went in the rain and the office had umbrellas that you could borrow for the visit.

It was fascinating to learn about the world of these birds. I didn't have high expectations, but was very impressed with my visit. We were able to hear about two different birds while they were being fed. The employees were extremely pleasant and willing to answer questions. The visitor center was worth the visit, too, as we learned additional facts about the birds.

This was a really fun adventure, interesting and educational - the keepers were out and about so I got to meet a few of the raptors while out of their pens. This place is worth supporting. This is not a very accessible place … some slippery hills to navigate and some without any hand rails. I would avoid if unsteady on your feet.

They had a nice variety of raptors & the signs on the cages were informative. Unfortunately, the thick black screening interfered with picture taking. All in all, it is a good experience for a reasonable price.

Cascades Raptor Center is a great way to spend a couple hours. Very informative. We really enjoyed the history of each bird. Easy to read signs lead around the facility. You get great views close up to each animal. The children who were visiting were enthralled. The facility is up a fairly steep drive. We parked across the road at the trailhead. Animals pens are in the trees along a windy walking path. Nice gift shop too

We loved out visit to the Cascade Raptor Center. We got to watch the staff feed the birds and owls up close and ask all our questions. Will be back next time we are in town!

Enjoy walking the grounds, learning about the various raptors, talking with the staff and shopping. The grounds are on a hillside. A really good day out

This is a great spot to visit, up in the hills above town. It's a rehabilitation center and sanctuary for raptos who cannot be released. They have some two dozen residents and they all look well cared for. The site is on a hill and is gravely and steep in places, so not very accessible for the mobility-impaired.

It was a very rainy day when we visited that Center which is dedicated to take care of all kind of birds of prey found wounded in the ( very large ) region. Birds are in cage of course, some in better shape than others but it was worth the visit . Only few employees were outside but ... it was raining hard!
