Paved trail on both sides and can cross at bridges. Park for kids to play at in between bike ride. Seemed pretty safe although I would not want to ride close to dark because of homeless camps. Courteous bike riders and joggers.

We rented bikes from Paul's Bicycle Way of Life and used them in Cottage Grove on the Row River Trail and also on the Willamette River in Eugene. Lots to see, nice path!

I tried to send you the oregon.gov and eugene.gov website that gives all the bikepaths but annoyingly Trip Advisor won't allow me to send the link. Just know that there is a website, good luck!

I had my own bike, so I didn't need to rent, but I agree will all the other comments about this. Eugene is very bicycle friendly and there are many shops in town that will rent. Best way would be to google it. It will... More
