    LOVED IT
We had a great time driving along the Waterfall Corridor on the Fourth of July weekend. It wasn't even that crowded given the holiday. All the waterfalls were beautiful and so much fun to just stop and hike around.

    Our favorite falls.
Easy walk to the bottom of the falls, 0.1 mile each way. Well worth the stop. Pay attention to the beautiful and unique rocks around the falls. Very picturesque. Don’t miss it on your way to the touristy falls of Multnomah.

    From a Distance
It was pouring down rain when we visited, so we did not make the trek out to the good viewpoint at the bridge. We were getting miserable. Ever the zoomed shows from a distance are nice though. It is a pretty one. It is worth the stop for sure. Hopefully, you get nicer weather.

It’s perfect for photos, and the views are absolutely breathtaking.
Latourell Falls is truly a hidden gem! The sight of the 224-foot waterfall cascading over those stunning basalt columns is even more impressive up close. It’s perfect for photos, and the views are absolutely breathtaking.

    Latourell Falls
Beautiful stop along the waterfall route! They are all unique and have different features that stand out. At Latourell, you have several paths you can take to view the falls. To view the upper falls you need to hike two miles. The path to the bottom of the falls offers a unique view looking up. The straight drop from the cliff above is really beautiful.

One of the many stunning stops along the gorge. We stopped here after we saw how busy Bridal Falls was and we were not disappointed with our decision to visit the other falls along the route and skip the one that everyone visits. This one has a beautiful old bridge that leads to the absolutely amazing waterfall. The area is full of greenery and had some very cool wildflowers blooming when we were there. There is a lot of places to pull over and park, just be mindful of the cars going by on the winding roads.

A short hike on the Lower Falls trail takes you to this beautiful waterfall. The Upper Falls trail was too much for one couple we spoke with. Also, the Lower Falls trail can be a short loop, but signage is bad. Just go back the way you came or you might get lost, as we almost did.

On a Sunday, finding parking at Multanomah falls was impossible. So I tried this place and was surprized at the ease of finding parking and the short trail led to the latourell falls. Not as high as the more famous one, but just as good for photos. Less crowds too.

At least you can see this one from your car okay. This was important because we had a person with mobility issues with us. It's a very short treck from the road. I guess we're spoiled around here. It's A nice waterfall but there's more spectacular ones down the road

We drove the waterfall corridor on the 4th of July and were worried about crowds and parking. Due to the holiday we were unable to book trolley or shuttle tickets, they were all sold out. We drove along the historic highway 30 and arrived at La Tourelle around noon. I think it was one of our most favorite of all the waterfalls we visited. It's steep hheight and the mist of water cooling us off on a hot day added to healing power of mother water. We were able to find a parking spot with no trouble despite the lot looking full as we turned into it. Someone pulled out and we got a spot! We hiked down to the bottom of the falls and sat with our feet in the pool, cooling our feet on a hot day. It felt refreshing and despite the holiday, it did not feel terribly overcrowded.

This is probably the 2nd best waterfall on the columbia gorge after multnomah. The hike is a short one to it , its on the old highway not 1-84. Once you walk through a short pathway to the falls you are greeted by a spectacular sight, the sound of the flowing water, the different colors of the rocks and the green micro organisms on the rocks make this a sight to see, if you choose only two waterfalls on the gorge drive besides multnomah, visit this one. I also would recommend horsetail falls as its near this falls

Not the best of the waterfalls along the route, but still fun. There is a very small parking lot. We went in early may, before the season and on a rainy day, so we were ok. But otherwise, the best way to see this falls is probably on a tour. It is a very short walk from the lot

I spent an entire day driving and hiking among all the Columbia River Gorge falls, and this one was my favorite. It's just as spectacular as the nearby Multnomah Falls, but less people especially if you arrive early. I'd suggest doing the loop trail to see the upper and lower falls.

This is actually our favorite waterfall that we have been to in the portion of the Columbia Gorge we have been to. It is not as crowded as Multnomah and you can take a fairly short, moderate trail to the bottom of the falls, where you can feel the mist from it. The volcanic basalt columns are impressive, and you can go off the main trail to go behind the falls if you want.
