Amazing Sandwich
Jan 2021 • Couples
We needed a quick road stop and have been wanting to check out Rogue Creamery for a while. We ordered grilled cheese sandwiches. They were AMAZING. We also brought home some cheese to enjoy at home. Will definitely stop the next time we pass through.

Rogue River Blue - The best cheese on Earth
Dec 2020 • Solo
Rogue River Creamery won the award for “Best Cheese in the World” at the 2019/2020 World Cheese Awards in Bergamo, Italy for their “Rogue River Blue”. I had to try this cheese and ordered a quarter wheel at a price of $75 (for approximately 18 ounces of cheese). I rarely, if ever, spend money for high end products. However, winning the award for “Best Cheese in the World” is on another level. This is an opportunity to experience a truly elite culinary product. So I decided to splurge. I am so happy I did! The Rogue River Blue was unlike any other cheese I have ever experienced. I sampled the cheese with different taste pairings including freshly sliced pears, a chocolate porter and a wonderful Washington Riesling. Each tasting was pure bliss. If you fancy yourself a cheese connoisseur, you absolutely need to treat yourself to a quarter wheel of Rogue River Blue. I’ve already sent in my second order. The supply will surely run out very soon.

Customer Service is poor.
Sep 2020
Warm, worlds best blue cheese and melted ice packs were shipped to me even though package states; "Keep Below 38". No calls were returned, emails repeatedly bounced, website wouldn't accept "Contact US". All I finally received were excuses. It's shameful.

Award Winning Blue Cheese
Jul 2020 • Family
If ever near Medford and you love cheese. It’s a must to stop to get their award winning rogue creamery blue cheese. They have a great selection of cheeses. Cute store inside with some local goods.

Must try their grilled cheese sandwiches- it’s so good. We tried both and they were great.

We already ran out of their cheese- will need to figure how to get some ship to Vegas.

EXCELLENT, WE LOVED IT!
Aug 2020 • Couples
Yes, you have to wear a mask but so what? Wonderful people, wonderful store. We had the classic grilled blue cheese and honey sandwich and it was wonderful. Right next door you can get a nice glass of wine and even take your sandwich in too. One building over from that is an award winning chocolate factory. You can't miss this fun place.

Store Not Inclusive
Jun 2020 • Couples
I rarely write a bad review, especially when I have loved their products for years, but the treatment my husband and I received today at the store was beyond awful. Apparently if you are unable to wear a mask for medical reasons you will receive a shaming from the man handing them out as you enter the building. His words were so critical that I felt I had to explain- a HIPAA violation- my condition. By then any desire I had to purchase their products was long gone and I turned and left. I will no longer buy or recommend their products to my family and friends who work in food service.

A place you don’t want to miss!
Jun 2020
This was such a fun stop on our trip. The workers were incredibly nice and helpful. You learn some history about the creamery and get to eat delicious cheese. We got a cheese plate and loved it! The lavender cheddar is amazing! We would visit again and plan to order cheese on their website when we get home!

*Also, the took great precautions for COVID-19. Only a couple of people are allowed inside at a time so be prepared to wait. I promise it is worth it!

Fun road trip stop
Feb 2020
On a trip through southern Oregon, we stopped here for a break. It's a small shop with self-serve cheese samples and pre-cut and packaged cheese and curds available to grab and go. Walk further inside to the full-service cheese counter for more cheese. There is one counter of just blue cheeses-a specialty here as they've won awards for their blue cheese. The second case is a mixture of hard and soft cheeses, most made by Rogue creamery but some from other creameries.

At the full service counter, you can sample any cheese they have. They are friendly, patient, and generous with the samples. It's fun to taste the cheeses and we left with some curds and Mt. Mazama cheese -- a hard cheese of cow and goat aged to the point of generating crystals.

You can also get made-to-order grilled cheese and other gift items (cutting boards, Rogue creamery gifts, etc).

There is a cheddar making room with a large viewing window, but it was empty during our visit on a Sunday. I'm guessing it's in use during the week.

If you like cheese, it's a worthwhile detour as you drive through.

Parking is free and in a lot and there were plenty of spaces when we visited.

You can also visit the dairy and see how the cows are milked in grants pass. We didn't have time to stop, but it sounded interesting.

Very Special
Feb 2020
Started in 1933 Rogue Creamery produces cheeses that are world famous. One of its Blues ( Rogue Blue) I believe won the “ Best Cheese in the World” worldwide competition against over 250 cheesemakers. That’s incredibly impressive. When there you are treated to a huge variety of cheeses and the history of the place is apparent. They also have grilled cheese sandwiches made up, of course, with their cheeses. Impossible to walk out without a purchase.
