Oswald West State Park is a true gem. The trails through the temperate rainforest are truly magical as they lead you to cliff views of the Pacific.

There are many viewpoints on this hike where you can stop and enjoy and turn back if the hike is too long. It took us about an hour each way on this hike and we spent considerable time at the top

Thought this place was beautiful. Perhaps a little more crowded the day we went than some of the reviews suggested, but a nice little spot to enjoy. HOWEVER, some of the reviews made it sound like it could be handicap accessible or a short enough...More

In dry conditions a good athletic shoe should be fine; if wet, I would recommend hiking boots. Also dress in layers as temps vary along the trails and be sure to bring drinking water for each hiker.
