Nice beach. Easy walk to get too. Very small parking lot. But go right at beach and see the caves, small waterfall and the point. It was intriguing to think about the days when they had to take a wagon or car around the point....More

Find this gem of a beach before the day's tourism peaks and enjoy spectacular coastal views, hidden sea caves, dramatic waves, tide pool life and even a lovely little waterfall! Get there at low tide and you'll see an old stage road in a rock...More

I decided not to venture into the cold water but the rest of family did and they loved it. Around the corner on the right side of the beach are caves and a waterfall. The pictures were beautiful :-). I would love to go back...More

This was a nice Oregon beach that is less crowded than Cannon Beach. We built sand castles, played in the waves and checked out tidal pools. There were also some cools caves to check out and rocks to climb.

We were able to see the cave easily, Go early as it gets busy quickly. Parking is reasonable unless it's mid day.

I don't think this place would be as cool at high tide, so definitely make a note of the tide tables and come when low tide! The kids had fun exploring lots of caves and climbing on rock. There were several tide pools to enjoy...More

The tide was a bit high when we were there, so we were not able to get the full experience. Also, the waterfall was just a trickle due to time of year and lack of recent rain. Still a cool place to visit though!

Hug Point is very fun to explore at low tide filled with old road ruts used almost a hundred years ago by Model t's, caves, a waterfall, and of course the beach.

Get their at low tide and have an experience north of the cave, waterfall down to the sea, caves...have to be conscious of the tides though.

Visited in 7/13/18 and it was beautiful. Not near as busy as the other beaches, but still steady. If you walk towards the left when entering not many people go that way, we climbed a rock and watched the tide go out, very peaceful.

I would say it depends on the limited mobility. The road down to the beach is paved and a little steep. There are a few wooden steps to go down. Once you are down at the beach you can walk to the rocks and peak in a few of... More

I'm not sure the official answer but we did see some people that started a fire inside one of the caves.
