Love the beach here, with caves and a waterfall. Great place to take a walk, have a picnic, or fly a kite!

We took a long walk to Hug Point. It was gorgeous, and not super busy. We really liked the rock walls and formations. Beautiful!

Gorgeous small beach. Waterfall and sea caves. Beach is secluded and almost empty in the fall. Scenery is gorgeous and one of the best stops along the coast.

Fabulous beach...not as many people as other beaches. Limited parking ....only park where permitted as park rangers issue fines. Check tide times as beach can be cut off if exploring caves .

Hug Point is a nice small place. But be CAREFUL! If you have small children, I would be very cautious about going here. Do not get caught in the tide rolling in, especially near the cave area.

Nice beach. Easy walk to get too. Very small parking lot. But go right at beach and see the caves, small waterfall and the point. It was intriguing to think about the days when they had to take a wagon or car around the point....More

I decided not to venture into the cold water but the rest of family did and they loved it. Around the corner on the right side of the beach are caves and a waterfall. The pictures were beautiful :-). I would love to go back...More

This was a nice Oregon beach that is less crowded than Cannon Beach. We built sand castles, played in the waves and checked out tidal pools. There were also some cools caves to check out and rocks to climb.

I would say it depends on the limited mobility. The road down to the beach is paved and a little steep. There are a few wooden steps to go down. Once you are down at the beach you can walk to the rocks and peak in a few of... More

I'm not sure the official answer but we did see some people that started a fire inside one of the caves.
