Enjoyed walking along the river in a very nicely wooded area. Many ducks in the water as well as people on waterboards (how they stay up, is amazing!). If you need a break, this place is worth it.

Our family really enjoyed this well-maintained trail that followed the Deschutes River as it flows through Bend. Take time to stop along the trail to enjoy a cup of coffee at the Old Mill District or walk a bit longer to downtown Bend for lunch.

We had just enough time to hit one trail in Bend Oregon, while passing through. After a little tumble skiing the day before I was limited to light walking. My husband had his mountain bike with him and this trail was recommended by a local...More

This is all flat/gravel bikeable or walkable (inclusing by strollers/wheelchairs if you don mind pebbles). You can do the entire, 10.5 one-way length but here are some shorter options for the prettiest, middle section. Many posible trailheads with parking along Century Drive. (1) From East...More

We walked the south portion of the Deschutes River Trail. We started at the dog park and headed north to cross the bridge towards the Old Mill and then headed south to the last bridge and made the loop back. All in, it was just...More

After dinner of our first night in Bend we took a short hike along the Deschutes (Deh Shoots) River Trail. It was enjoyable. The views of the river were outstanding and the trail is used by such a variety of people. The trail is 3...More

Beautiful location starting from Old Mill. Easy path to start and then rougher, no bikes areas, and some rocks and roots. Wouldn't take really young kids. 7 year old liked to get a bit close to edges but trail is clear. Dogs loved it -...More
