SPECIAL PEOPLE PRIVILEGE WITH POLICE BACK UP!!
BEWEAR
My family has lived in Yukon since 2005. Never been pulled over never had cops at our house. We move to smoking oaks and a few families have been here since it was developed, and you can tell by how they treat you. The lovely family across the street constantly blocks our drive way since 2014. I have called the police station many times to be told they do not send officers out for cars parked in the street. My son had a friend stay over and he parked in the street, guess what the cops was at my door and made us move. Discrimination is what that is against people that move to Yukon

Yukon is small but is growing so fast. It still has the small city feel and community events which make it unique.

Historic town having both the Chisholm Trail and Route 66 going through it. Not to mention that Yukon is the hometown of Garth Brooks.

The Chisholm Trail ran right through our town. It is embedded in our history in many ways and would be a good trip to come and see these things for yourself in our city.
Yukon was just a little town and has grown leaps and bounds over the past 20 years and there are many things you can do around here and in the OK. City area.

Chisholm Trail Park is actually two parks in one, the original park, and the newer development on the other side of the lake. There are several different play areas scattered throughout the park, as well as walking trails, fountains, etc. Weekly musical performances take place in a gazebo, and there are seasonal activities for the Fourth of July, Christmas, etc. Christmas in the Park is magical, with hundreds of displays, a train ride, and much more. The display is famous statewide. There is a fireworks display and music for New Year's Day, and we just attended a Labor Day celebration with food trucks, music, and fireworks. There is a huge hill for sledding when it snows. This is the best park around!

This is a great place to exercise, play, swim in the summer, and see Christmas lights in the winter. All ages can find something to do from playgrounds, pavilion rental, fishing, volleyball. Great facilities and fun for all.

There is not much to do in the town of Yukon, OK. We found a couple of places to drive to based on Oklahoma's tourist website.

We saw the Czech Mural at 25 N 5th St (see photo) and the Chisholm Trail Watering Hole & Historic Marker at 2101 S Holly Ave (see photo)

Yukon is a great place to live. Small town atmosphere, but close even to OKC to have all the activities and things to do.
