Originally called the Pugh's Mill Covered Bridge, this is a picturesque old bridge that is no longer open to vehicular traffic. It's still worth visiting nonetheless.

This is a great looking bridge! First I spotted it on my way to Hueston Woods, then later I hiked to it from a trail head very close to campus. Free parking at the trailhead!

The 1868 bridge was closed to auto traffic so we parked our car and walked the bridge. It is interesting to see the three story structure. We had a math contest for the kids. "Who can tell us how old the bridge is?"

The construction of the bridge is quite impressive, and it's a nice slice of local history. It's a quick stop that's worth the few minutes you'll spend there and it's a great place to run to (only about 4 miles, round trip, from the heart...More
