This Wright house, which is usually open one Sunday afternoon for half the year, is now open regularly during the week for the duration of the Front contemporary art festival. While you can pretty much see most of the interior from the outside, it’s great...More

If you love this style of architecture, please go. It is an intimate house. In it, you see all the lovely detailing that makes a Wright home and all the really bad building decisions that makes them hard to live in. I got many ideas...More

Frank Lloyd Wright fans in Cleveland who can’t make the pilgrimage to the iconic Fallingwater site in Pennsylvania can take heart. This specimen is smaller, but has many of the same FLW traits (minus the built-in waterfall). It can be toured in less than 30...More

Good example of a Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian home. Open Sundays from noon to 5 April - November. Unfortunately owners subsequent to original owner made some “improvements” that detract from original design and there are signs of a lack of maintenance.

This isn't open very often, but so stop by and check out exterior. It is a lovely Usonian, with great lines. While there is no parking right in front of the house, there is a side street about a block away. Worth the stop.

We visited the Weltzheimer/Johnson House a while ago, but it stands out for us because it was the first Wright house we've seen. Our tour guide was very informative and explained Wright's philosophy and intentions. This home is not so large that we were overwhelmed...More

The house is open and the cost is $5. The website says there are tours on the hour. It seems you may enter and tour the house at anytime from noon until 4 PM on the first Sunday of each month (April - November) with...More

It was closed, but we spent quite a while checking out the house through the windows. Wish it had regular hours all year. Very interesting Usonian FLW house.

While this place is not as impressive as Falling Water, it is a beautiful, clear example of a Frank Lloyd Wright home. His style was unmistakable. After reading some reviews, I was worried about being able to locate the home, but it was very easy....More

Well maintained example of Wright's residential architecture designed for the discriminating middle class taste. Much of the original furnishings are still there or have been repurchased and restored to their original use. House had been home of an Oberlin College art professor, who lovingly restored...More

Cane and walker, definitely, but I doubt a scooter would fit. A portable push wheelchair might work, tho. My daughter uses both, but a cane would probably be best.
