I had heard of the famous Magee Marsh for a few years and always wanted to go. Well I finally got the chance this spring and was not disappointed. Nothing can compare to the close up point blank views of migrating warblers that abounded there...More

Boardwalk well maintained. Tons of parking. Lake Erie on opposite side of trails so was nice to walk along the banks and to sit and picnic if you desire. For birders, it is paradise. Nice visitor's center with great displays.

I have been coming here for 50+ years, since long before there was a boardwalk. I miss Crane Creek days ownership. It is now uninviting. Overgrown, no swimming, no picnic tables, no bathrooms near the boardwalk. I have bird watched the world over. This used...More

I do not know the answer to this. You could contact the Ohio department of natural resources. It is responsible for the Magee Marsh Wildlife Area at: wildlife.ohiodnr.gov
