Always a moving experience to visit this site where 30,000 died in 1916/18. There is now a new museum which vividly recreates the fighting, and an adjoining cafe with a magnificent view. Do not miss the old trenches on the far hill.

Great place for war history lovers, definitely a lot to see to understand the purpose of this point importance during the war. Be aware - weather can change in minutes and fog ruins the day.
