Great collection of historical items and photos of the island. Air conditioning, restrooms, and drinking fountain a plus on a hot summer day. Just $5 for the entire family!

My husband and I enjoyed touring the Museum and church next door. There was a lot of information and memorabilia about the island and its history. It was interesting to see the historical pictures and learn about the the island’s early residents.

We walked a lot of the island. We stopped at everything we could. This church and the neighboring museum were a nice little stop. The church itself small and very cool as far as the age it was and the quaintness of it. There was...More

This little church was like looking through a window of time. As I stepped in the back doors and peered in , I could feel the reverence of a once holy place. My mind imagined a church service, wedding, or just a meeting of the...More

This small, unimposing building hides many beautiful nuggets and treasures from the history of Kelleys Island. A self-paced "tour" there are many placards to read explaining the history, or the use of the items displayed. Next door is a German Reform church under restoration which...More

Stopped by to see. Very interesting items, enjoyed the VCR tape explaining about the old homes on the island. Went to the church next to the historical association as well.

Our hotel encouraged us to visit a much busier commercial island, but that is a mistake. The local history of this island is facinating, and we'll worth doing this as opposed to just another shopping mall. The architecture on the island us well preserved and...More
