Stunning views on our cycling tour followed by some fabulous tastings and delicious tasty lunch. Lots of local knowledge about the region and a very enjoyable day around the vineyards.

Thanks Melissa, it was great to share our tour with you and to give you a taste of all our local produce and wines on Tassie's East Coast. it sure is fun cycling off road through the vines and paddocks. A really different way to see the local countryside.

We were picked up in Swansea by Sally, and driven to Milton vineyard where John had the bikes ready to go ! Fabulous day wine tasting and pedalling across country. Beautiful wines at Milton, Springvale, Craigie Knowe and Gala . Thoroughly recommended !

Sally and John are wonderful, humorous, patient, accommodating and generous!!! from the moment we communicated. Hubby and I decided on the "Self directed ride " didn't do much riding on account of the rain so wine tasting at "Gala" and "Milton" it was. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Still thinking about it.
Would totally recommend!
Thank you Sally and John loved your company.

Hi Marisa, Thanks for the lovely review. John and I are so pleased you enjoyed your day. At least you had a cycle around Cranbrook and saw the vineyards from a different perspective,. Glad you enjoyed our superb East Coast Tassie wines!

My friend and I did the three winery bike tour today with Sally (and the help of John).
It was a brilliant day and I would highly recommend it if you have a spare day while in the area, and if you love wine.
We were treated to multiple wine tastings, a cheese platter and a seafood lunch, all at local vineyards. And we got to ride mountain bikes off road, through fields and vineyards while taking in the beautiful and tranquil scenery. We were also treated to a private tour by one of the local vintners, which was informative and interesting.
The local wines and food on offer were delicious and good quality. Sally is a friendly and gregarious tour guide and is a pleasure to spend a day with.
The bike riding is at a leisurely pace, so you don't need to be a great rider to keep up. Everything we needed was provided and Sally and John did an excellent job of catering to all our needs, it was a lovely, relaxing day.

Thanks Kristy! It was a fun day. I enjoyed showing you around the East Coast of Tasmania's farms and vineyards by bicycle. It is different and a great way to see things you can't experience by car. The local food and wines are amazing. So pleased you enjoyed them. John and I are very proud of the amazing place we live in and love to share it with others. Hope to see you again soon.

Sally and her husband were an absolute delight. I came across these guys through google and some other pamphlets/advertising and both my husband and I decided we would prefer to tour ourselves through the town and to any other attractions. When we arrived to Swansea our lovely host Stuart from the motor inn had also recommended Sally as way of cycling in the area, so off we went to look for her business. It wasn't a far journey to find her from our accommodation in town, although I would recommend a sign out the front of her house as it was slightly difficult to recognize where she would be located. When we arrived (and even on the return of the bikes) both sally and her husband were more than informative and hospitable. From allowing us to have the bike for a day and a half at a discounted rate, to giving us a map, sunscreen and offering us water and tips on where to go,. It was a great pleasure to deal with them. On the return of the bicycles they even offered to take us home or to the beach and even wine later also. Lovely Lovely people who do this as such enjoyment for themselves as much as for others. Very cool to try the Cruiser bikes also as we're both used to mountain bikes! Thank you for a lovely time : )

We picked up bikes from Sally's house just for a cruise around Swansea. Right from the get go Sally was so warm and welcoming. The bikes were also cheap to hire and good quality. If we had more time we would of loved to do a tour around the wineries as I'm sure Sally would have been a great guide. Highly recommend to all.

Sally's cycle tour was a great experience from the time we were picked up from Orford (Nine of us), the weather could have been kinder but Sally and John made sure that we had the greatest experience no matter what.
We visited four wineries all with magnificent wines but a special mention to our hosts Glen & Sandy at Craigie Knowe who not only gave us an informative tour of their vineyard but allowed us to sit on the deck in front of their home enjoying a substantial platter along with some of their wine. Their Pinot Noir was simply outstanding, prompting purchases from a number in the group.
I would highly recommend this tour which would be suitable for any age or fitness level as it is a leisurely ride through private properties.

Had a wonderful three winery tour with Sally today, culminating in a lovely lunch at Spring Vale winery.

Sally was an excellent, personable and enthusiastic guide, who knew when to talk and when to let the the lovely venues and cellar door hosts strut their stuff.

Would highly recommend this as a great way to explore the beautiful Swansea countryside, local wines and produce. It wasn't too difficult, bikes were new, and the scenery quite special.

Thanks Sally!

We had a fantastic day with Sally and John yesterday. The bikes were brand new, Sally and John were very mindful of the kids at all times. The cycle on Nine Mile Beach was just gorgeous! We proceeded to an oyster farm and then to a vineyard. Perfect day. Great value for a family of five. What a fantastic way to enjoy the East Coast of Tasmania!

Thanks so much Sheela, I am so pleased you and your lovely family enjoyed your cycling tour. I try to plan tours to suit each group and the beach was something I knew your children would enjoy. The Melshell Oyster farm grows the most delicious oysters, so I knew you would like that. Lunch at a vineyard seemed a great way to end the day.

Thanks Brian, It was a fun day. I am so pleased you enjoyed and everything the day provided. I try to show people what the East coast of Tasmania offers from a different perspective. Its nice to go slow and observe the country side, smelling and seeing things you miss when driving. I am glad you had a good day.
