Another great waterfall!
Dec 2020
We ended up with an extra day, so decided to visit another waterfall. After using google, came across Westmorland Falls. Well for me, it was my favourite, maybe because it was slightly off the beaten track, there were less people, and the whole atmosphere of the location, while not as green or mossy, it was still breathtaking and enjoyable. The walk is fairly easy, rock hopping only once you reach the falls (remember to keep going up the track a little to view the falls drop) We had our lunch here, it was just so nice. I nice flow coming through the rocks, enough places to sit by yourself.

Enjoyable afternoon
Jul 2020
Relatively easy walk into the falls.
Takes about an hour on a well formed track but was especially muddy in places (in July) so make sure you wear suitable footwear.
Slightly steep and rocky in places but other parts have board walk so mixed surfaces.
The falls themselves are beautiful, as was the river crossing on the way.
There are even fossils in the rocks at the base of the falls.
Well worth a visit.

Lovely easy walk through a forest.
Jan 2020
We took a picnic and ate by the falls sitting on a rock in a shady place. The area is cool, calming and quite charming. And better yet, there were only 2 other people there the two times we have visited.

Great Bush walk
Jan 2020
Not a Main tourist attraction, out of the way adventure. Climbed over fallen trees and through them. Not much water flowing this time of year, would be awesome with some rain. Relatively easy walking

Pleasant walk through forest to waterfall
Jan 2020
We walked this on a warm day in January. Saw plenty of wallabies, big gums, myrtle and sassafras. Easy walk, takes a couple of hours return. You can have your lunch at the waterfall. After walking about ten minutes, there is a fork in the track. Take the smaller track on the left - the wide track that goes downhill ends up at a collapsed cave near the river. Only ten minutes drive from Mole Creek.

Beautiful falls. Even more spectacular after rain.

We were a bit hesitant doing this walk as we have small kids - 3 and 5 years old who sometimes get a bit grumpy walking too far. However they went really well and really enjoyed the walk and the amazing falls (full disclosure - there may have been a few lolly bribes on route!) It is about 4 km return and took us a bit over 2 hours at a slow pace with a stop for a snack and decent look around the waterfalls. The falls were in full glory today after big storms last night so really amazing. Also really enjoyed the wide and colourful variety of fungi along the track. Definitely worth a visit.

Great walk
Sep 2018 • Friends
Did this walk in September a couple of days after a heavy rain so knew that there would be a large amount of water coming over the falls - it was beautiful. Naturally the downside to this was that the track was a little muddy in parts but nothing walking boots couldn't cope with. 2 hours is a good time to allow to be able to stop and get photos or catch your breathe after an uphill section. The whole walk is through lovely rainforest. Well worth it.

Glorious
Jul 2018 • Family
I had read another review saying 'muddy in parts', and took this on board when packing for this little day trip. I packed gumboots for all walkers, and I'm glad I did, as it is extremely muddy towards the end of the track as you're approaching the waterfall base. Also very early on, a very short way from the carpark, the boardwalk is completely submerged with water (as at 21st July 2018, after decent rainfall). With gumboots donned, we were set to fully enjoy this beautiful walk with so much bright green moss and other amazing plant life. It's wonderful for fungi finders, too. The falls were much bigger and more glorious than I thought. We all completely loved it!

Worth the walk for the good air.

A good track into the Falls, but muddy in parts. Not a difficult walk but a few difficult sections. Definitely worth the effort with access to the base of the falls and some good photo opportunities. Was also surprised at the number of shell fossils found in the rocks in the river bed. Allow 2 hours for the round trip, depending on time spent at the falls. The rainforest is brilliant and worth the walk just for the air quality.
