Best day of our tour
May 2021
I have to rate this the best Wildlife Sanctuary in Tassie. We visited others but were not impressed with conditions or ease of access.
This sanctuary is awesome, highly recommended for anyone with a love of animals.
Had a private tour and were very happy with our guide who answered all our questions. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

The best Tasmanian wild life park!
Apr 2021 • Family
Wow. I have been to many wildlife parts in Tassie but this is the best largely because of what I saw and learnt about the devil. Such a great tour (11 am). I had never seen a quoll. Huge mob of kangaroos. Fabulous experience.

This organisation is doing remarkable stuff to rescue and preserve our wildlife. The tour was informative and very interesting, The park itself is full of wildlife that one rarely sees in the wild.

Getting up close to the little Devils
Mar 2021
Loved this sanctuary - animals were allowed to roam in large areas. Great information session by one of the experts and we got to pat a baby Tassie Devil! This was one of the highlights of our trip to Tasmania.

Trowunna is a wonderful place to visit.
They run a great and highly interactive tour to show wombats, spotted quolls and Tassie devils, and the parks has other birds, kangaroos and echidna’s as well.

Lovely visit

Really enjoyed my afternoon at Trowunna. I highly recommend the tour run by very knowledgeable staff. It was great to learn about the breeding program for the Tassie Devils and the rescue efforts of many other australian native animals. You can purchase a small amount of food to feed and pat the kangaroos!

Learn about a Recovery Program for Aussie icon species
Jan 2021 • Family
Great location at Mole Creek to experience Tassie Devils, Spotted quoll and wombats up close and learn more about the recovery programs underway for these icon Aussie species. Children can also feed the many free range marsupials. Thanks for providing a great experience!

Nice experience
Jan 2021
Nice experience here. We coincided our visit with a tour they do and really glad we did. This is a small sanctuary commited to rehabilitation or just keeping those who can’t be rehabilitated. I learnt a lot about the devils and now have a greater fondness and respect than I ever did. In a way I prefer these small parks to the big slick ones as it is a far nicer experience. As you enter you can purchase feed for the free range animals. It was a nice way to spend a couple of hours.
