Worth every cent of the $10pp entry. The ladies in the cafe/info centre were so helpful gave us a map and even offered us an umbrella to borrow. The grounds are gorgeous with decent pathways and plenty of benches to take it all in. Even...More

We had a lovely walk around the gardens on a sunny Sunday. The autumn colours are beautiful. Looking forward to returning when the rhododendrons are in full bloom!

The Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden is spectacular if you are there in rhododendron season. My visit on November 14 seemed to be right at the peak, but I am sure two or three weeks on either side of that date would also be pretty outstanding....More

We visited in January when most of the flowers are over but the setting and the dedication of the volunteers made it well worth the visit. The people that maintain the gardens are so proud of what has been achieved their enthusiasm rubs off. Definitely...More

No public buses, to my knowledge, but it's only a little way out of Burnie. It would be less than 15 minutes by taxi.
