Thanks for the kind words Frank - it's a pity you couldn't try the cafe while you were here - it is always pretty busy and bookings are essential. Perhaps next time?

If your a whisky lover then a visit to this quality distillery is worth it. Book a tour for a taste testing adventure. Pour and wax seal your own bottle of whisky of choice is a must. Meals are available from the restaurant.

The tour is brilliant. Whisky is not the cheapest, but quality is not cheap. Great food and coffees available as well.

On tour from P&O cruise. We stopped into Hellyers distillery, didn't eat. Got a great introduction to whisky, the staff walked us through some of the history, the variety of scotchs and variants. Had an opportunity to taste and purchase, great stop over. Loveed it.

although we didn't eat here i did observe that dinners seemed happy and chatty, we came for the whisky, and what a variety, lets just say the credit card got quite a workout

Great Distillery that shows off what Tassie has to offer the world of Whiskey. Nice little restaurant attached to enjoy a nibble and a beverage after a tour of the distillery.

This distillery is worth the visit when in the area. The selection of whisky is good with tasting available for a nominal fee. A nice selection of glassware and other souvenirs. There is also a lovely view over the valley from the large panoramic windows.
