Loved visiting this attraction so much. Seeing all the history and stories was amazing. Awesome people running the house with a wealth of knowledge. My two teenage kids thought it was great too. And yes we sang the famous song more than once on our...More

This visit with our group closed a few gaps in the Tenterfield Saddler story but I have to admit I was expecting a little more from the attraction. We got a nice photo and enjoyed the experience.

I have to admit I was terribly excited this was something we could see... so I insisted this was one of our stops. Why did it ring bells in my head though? It was because of Peter Allen's song... the song where he tells the...More

We visited Tenterfield last month and visiting the Tenterfield Saddler was on the top of our list of things to see and do. I know that the shop is manned by volunteers but we were very disappointed to find that it was closed even though...More

My wife and I stayed in Tenterfield for 4 days/3nights in may this year and each day we went to the building during the advertised hours only to find it closed. The sign says it is staffed by volunteers, so I suspect there are not...More

A must see in Tenterfield. It relates to Peter Allen and his family history. The gentleman inside on the day I visited was very informative and told a lot of stories about the history of the cottage. Take a look at the year of the...More

Made famous by Peter Allen's song based on this business, as owned by his grandfather, it is conveniently located in the heart of town just off the New England highway. Lots of history, lots of related memorabilia and a range of leather items available for...More

If you're in Tenterfield you absolutely must stop in and check out the history at the Tenterfield Saddler. So much history in one place, and where better to find a little souvenir for friends and family????
