What an amazingly beautiful walk. The huge guns and walk along the gorge floor was so peaceful. It's an easy walk. Worth the drive.

Pleasant spot for a walk, the track is well maintained, the gully an interesting sight. Peaceful spot with good road access to trail head.

The name Ferny gully is descriptive. With a well made track with steps that loop down one side of the gully and come ba k up the other.

Arriving at Ferntree Gully I was not that impressed, it just looked like a dirt carpark in the middle of the bush. My impression was completely wrong, once into the track we descended into a gully that was more like a canyon. It was beautiful...More
