Honestly a trip you will never forget. We had live music with country music star Radney Foster and Jamie Richards. We can't wait to go again!

There are 2 water falls...upper and lower...We were there in April, which is considered dry season, so keep that mind. The upper fall is about a 1.5 hour hike through the hills outside of Yelapa...Would recommend wearing river sandals or sneakers, as it's very uneven...More

This waterfall is very near the town of Yelapa, just a short uphill hike from the South pier. You can purchase drinks and souvenirs along the path/walkway to the waterfall. There is a cafe also at the waterfall that provides drinks and snacks. In mid-March...More

Yelapa is definitely worth a visit even with the large crowds that come daily. Hike itself is easy as long as you have proper footwear. Flip flops though convenient as part of the hike involves walking through a stream becomes a liability as the reminder...More

This is a nice way to see more of the surroundings while getting some exercise. People along the way were helpful and friendly, much appreciated as signs are old and sometimes easily missed.

I was confused by the wildly divergent reviews of the "Yelapa Waterfalls" until I finally saw them. Some reviews complained of nagging tour guides and non-existent falls, while others said the hike was challenging but worthwhile when they reached the falls. It turns out, Yelapa...More

We booked our tour through a travel agency who offered the boat ride across the bay instead of taking the "bus" ride.

The Best way is by boat; there is a road but it is in a bad shape and long. We booked our trip in advance; The horses were included (also The scuba gear)
