The lower waterfall is just a trickle and the water pool seems dirty. The larger falls is... read more

Yelapa has apparently changed a lot over the years. There has been some development on the tiny fishing island. We took a tour there, the boats expect you to drink/dine with their partner restaurants where they will pick you up--it felt like a feeder system....More

Nice hike to the waterfall and pool. Stop at Christina's on the way back for some lunch. There are two different waterfalls. The first one did not have any water flowing, but the longer hike to the smaller one was very nice.

Honestly a trip you will never forget. We had live music with country music star Radney Foster and Jamie Richards. We can't wait to go again!

There are 2 water falls...upper and lower...We were there in April, which is considered dry season, so keep that mind. The upper fall is about a 1.5 hour hike through the hills outside of Yelapa...Would recommend wearing river sandals or sneakers, as it's very uneven...More

This waterfall is very near the town of Yelapa, just a short uphill hike from the South pier. You can purchase drinks and souvenirs along the path/walkway to the waterfall. There is a cafe also at the waterfall that provides drinks and snacks. In mid-March...More

The Best way is by boat; there is a road but it is in a bad shape and long. We booked our trip in advance; The horses were included (also The scuba gear)
