A charming, peaceful garden with mixture of formal gardens with woodland and lakeside walks. Lots of colour even at end of September. New children's play area being developed for 2019. Very child-friendly and staff in reception and cafe welcoming and helpful, and food good value.

Enjoyed seeing the range of colours and planting; still looking good at the end of summer. Visit was made more interesting by picking up a leaflet from the gift shop for the sculpture trail, then finding them all.
