Beamhurst Museum is a privately owned museum which has open weekends so the public can enjoy our collection as much as we do. It was our dream to open a museum so people could enjoy our collection as much as we do. We had our first open days in August 2010 and were overwhelmed by how many people came to visit - nearly 600 people in three days!! he uniqueness of our collection and the range of items to see makes us stand out. We don't collect just one thing, there are over 1000 items related to Uttoxeter. A vast collection of clocks, prams, enamel signs, bikes, music boxes, brewery memorabilia, petrol globes, pumps, barrel organ, bottles, small carriages, radios, pottery, lamps, telephone boxes and much much more ..............and new for this year is a wonderful display of antique watercolours and oil paintings. Opening times for 2016 are: OPENING TIMES 10.00am - 5.00pm MARCH Saturday 26th, Sunday 27th, Bank Holiday Monday 28th APRIL Saturday 16th, Sunday 17th, Saturday 30th MAY Sunday 1st, Bank Holiday Monday 2nd, Saturday 14th, Sunday 15th, Saturday 28th,Sunday 29th, Bank Holiday Monday 30th JUNE Saturday 11th, Sunday 12th, Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th JULY Saturday 9th, Sunday 10th, Saturday 23rd, Sunday 24th AUGUST Saturday 6th, Sunday 7th, Saturday 27th, Sunday 28th, Bank Holiday Monday 29th SEPTEMBER Saturday 10th, Sunday 11th

Visited this fascinating museum today. John made us feel very welcome and was more than happy to answer questions. An interesting collection of a huge variety of items displayed in two buildings. It was free but you'll want to leave a donation.
