The museum is entirely managed & run by volunteers & the Oswestry Council seem very supportive towards them. There are 3 rooms with displays. Projects are carried out which involve the local community. The Museum is open on Weds, Fri & Sat, entrance is free....More

If the two flights of stairs aren't too much then the museum is well worth it. It offers a history of the town, from prehistoric to 20th Century, all nicely displayed and very informative

Yes it is we have had a number of wheel chair visitors take the lift from the ground floor by reception
