This is an example of how to run a good tourist information office. Lots of pamphlets, maps and walking guides available. If the local authorities are thinking of closing this place then they need their heads examining.

The exhibition is rather small, but then so is the building, which I believe to be the old Grammer school. The lady behind the desk was very polite and helpful, just what was needed to start my visit to Oswestry

Popped in while recently passing through Oswestry. Well worth a visit, interesting display of local history. Lady at the information desk was very pleasant and helpful. Beautiful exterior, good photographic opportunity if you`re interested in historical buildings.

We popped in here for a tea break having found a lack of places that are dog friendly. Our dog, parker, was welcomed and had water and a doggie biscuit (homemade by the lovely carol!). We ended up having hot tikka rolls and afternoon cream...More

After visiting the hill fort nearby, we took our coach to Oswestry, where there was a designated coach park. Some of the group were disappointed the Morrisons did not not have a cafe, so we went into the town to find refreshments. Someone from the...More
