Not only is the blanket hall the place to buy Witney blankets, scarves etc, but the cafe is good and the home made pies are worth a diversion alone.

The coffee / pie shop is great. Always too quiet though - more people need to know its worth a visit. The Pies are really good and the accompanying items are really tasty (mash peas pudding etc..) cakes are home made and really delicious.

We only called in here whilst completing a treasure hunt with the Grandchildren around Witney. We will come back on our own though as there was so much more to this museum than we could see with a youngster . Everyone knows of Witney blankets...More

I am very sorry for not answering this before, but the ground floor is on the flat (so no problem), and we have a lift so you can also access the upper floor. Look forward to seeing you at the Blanket Hall.

How extremely sad you didn't find us. I think you must have been to Witney Museum rather than the Blanket Hall. We are 20 yards further down on the opposite side of the road, next to the Plough pub. We were most definitely... More

Our current plan is to close at 5pm on Saturday 24th December 2016 and reopen at 10am on Tuesday 3rd January 2017. So we would not be open on Boxing day, sorry. However we are open every day except Mondays until 24th... More
