A Cromwellian church, one of a few. The church is opposite the barracks and easy to find. The thing that struck me was the sense of proportion, very appeasing to the eye. Worth a visit if you like history, politics or religion.

never there were any Cromwellian churches. lots of changes since it was built. could be claimed as being plain but this has its own charm. good information sheets to read
