Bit disappointed with lunch today! Frozen roasties and Yorkshire’s! Cauliflower cheese was the worst we have ever had runny and pale felt like a packet mix, obviously not put back in the oven To brown!! Veggies bit boring cabbage carrot peas!! C’mon there are better veggies on offer this time of the year! Lamb was beautiful slightly over cooked but I like it that way! with not knowing the area we were lucky to find this lovely pub .the lady and gent that worked on the saturday evening couldnot have been any better the early evening meal menu was very good and great value for money .good choice of beers and the pub has a lovely feel to it and if we were ever in the area again we would call in again lovely pub…

A lovely place for a relaxed meal with family and friends. The menu is extensive and you will have difficulty deciding what to order. The food is wholesome and delicious. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable.
