You cannot get anything like The Chequers roast in Tonbridge. It's a big tasty portion, with lots of meat options available. The chef can also cater for other dietary requirements and managed to sort out a lovely veggie version for my vegetarian mates at short...More

I have been drinking here for many years . The management and staff are always polite and helpful. Quiz night on Sunday is well presented by the Landlady and several guest presenters . Karaoke at weekend is the best in Tonbridge

I have been drinking here for years and think the landlord and landlady work really hard . The karaoke nights are brilliant and the quiz is great

I popped into the Chequers because it's the only pub in Tonbridge which shows sports, but which isn't packed with angry people who only go to the pub to watch said sports. So it has that going for it, but beyond that it's largely an...More
