Having been recommended this by a customer at a New Romney coffee shop made the point of paying a visit. The museum is run by a very enthusiastic group of volunteers. Offered tea on arrival. Museum is deceptively large with fascinating exhibits. Well worth the...More

we went on a sunday, two sweet old ladies were running it , they offered to give us a free tour and tell us about anything that we wanted to know more about, worth the visit and getting stressed trying to find it! its not...More

My second visit here,found it even more interesting than my first. Many thanks to Mr&Mrs Paine & a lady whose name we didn't get for sharing all there local knowledge and making it an enjoyable afternoon. See you soon 😊

I remember being taken her as a child when I attended Lydd Primary school between 1991 and 1998. The teachers would make out we were in for some great big treat, when in reality it was just a room with a horse drawn fire wagon...More

A small museum with a lot of Lydd's history inside many photos going a long way back over the years. Not that interesting for people with families to stop at but otherwise pop in if in area for a holiday
