We walked up to the Tennyson Monument with our 3 dogs on a very cold & bright February day! It was stunning-what a superb walk! It was fantastic-views we’re amazing & our dogs loved it! Just wish we had this on our doorstep at home!

my wife and I live in west wight and anytime we get visitors we always walk up to the monument. you get the most amazing views of both sides of the island from up there

We were blessed with fabulous clear skies and sun. A walk over the downs here seeing interesting bird life, ravens, kestrels, skylarks as well a display Spitfire! Helped by a wonderful National Trust guide. Franky a perfect morning memorable for ever.

There are great views from the top of Tennyson Down, both of the island and over towards Poole, Bournemouth and beyond. It's quite a challenging climb to the top but really worth it.
