This totally unspoilt small country pub continues to charm. Serving deliccious simple home cooked food and excellent ale straight from the barrel. Small cosy bars, not many modern conveniences. Lovely cottage garden in the summer. Absolutely brilliant.

What a find! A wonderfully traditional pub in idyllic surroundings. Serving local beers and high quality food, I thoroughly enjoyed taking my Grandad here. There's a great story behind the pub that's well worth a read

This is exactly what one doesn't want in a traditional English Pub - that is unless you like warm beer, curmudgeonly customers, disinterested staff, antediluvian bogs (WC's), and this is without mentioning the food....and the least said about that the better. This cannot be what...More

If you want to experience a 'real' pub, this is the place to go. Small inside, excellent beer behind the bar, pretty outside seating area and garden. Very tranquil on a summers evening

I have a drink at this very quaint pub, but I never eaten there. They sell wonderful bunches of cut flowers all through summer, I often pop in to buy them!!
