Outstanding beer and one of the best "Rare Roast Beef Sandwiches" I have ever tasted. It's a real shame there are so few of these great pubs left now. This pub is well hidden and there is very limited room inside a limited car parking.

Planned walk at Steep with lunch in the Cricketers. However the Cricketers was closed! Their loss and very much our gain as moved to the Harrow Pub at the other end of village. What a find! Exceptional lunch albeit from limited menu. The quiche was...More

Finally got to visit the Harrow Inn today and well worth the visit. The ploughman’s were huge and delicious and the service was great. Well worth the trip on a much needed day off.

This totally unspoilt small country pub continues to charm. Serving deliccious simple home cooked food and excellent ale straight from the barrel. Small cosy bars, not many modern conveniences. Lovely cottage garden in the summer. Absolutely brilliant.

What a find! A wonderfully traditional pub in idyllic surroundings. Serving local beers and high quality food, I thoroughly enjoyed taking my Grandad here. There's a great story behind the pub that's well worth a read

This is one special public house that we discovered today. What a little gem we have found. It was like going back in time- a truly traditional proper pub. I had a ham ploughman’s and it was huge, couldn’t eat it all. The ham is...More

Visited for the first time today; this place is undoubtedly a one off and I can understand might not appeal to everyone.....although had to laugh when reading the trivial reasons for criticism put up by some reviewers. Every Englishman should experience this place before they...More

This is exactly what one doesn't want in a traditional English Pub - that is unless you like warm beer, curmudgeonly customers, disinterested staff, antediluvian bogs (WC's), and this is without mentioning the food....and the least said about that the better. This cannot be what...More
