We visit a fair few wine bars. Especially in London. So the chance for an afternoon somewhere much closer to home was worth a try.
Frankly why have we bothered with London. Not only is con excellent in the quality of the food and the wine. But it’s a superb place to relax and extremely well priced too. To have a stunning platter and a delicious bottle of red, along with some cheeky extras and pay £50 is exceptional value. I cannot recommend Vin enough.
Just go there. You won’t be disappointed

Stumbled across this little gem in Emsworth, the weather was great to enjoy our little luncheon in the courtyard. The owner served us delightful food and wine and gave us some really helpful advice about the local area which saved us time. Thanks it was a real pleasure!

Great service and expertise in wines. Jonathan Rogers, the owner is relaxed and a great listener when addressing your needs, for a cracking good bottle or vintage or just some general help and advice.. This brilliant shop in Emsworth is a must visit - probably your most important one, even if you do forget that visit to the Post Office ... John and Cecily, Langstone.

What an absolute gem of a find. Highly recommended. We sat in the courtyard on a lovely day, had the cambert, bread and olives with a delicious bottle of wine, and the service was great. If we lived here, we would frequent often, but will definitely go back next time we are this end of the woods.

Wine tasting experience with a cheese platter for two, my daughter gave me this present for Father's Day. My wife and I have only just managed to find time to fit this in, it was worth the time and bus journey, very informative and the host Johnathon made it very enjoyable, I would recommend it if you like wine.

Four of us had booked the wine tasting over the bank holiday weekend. Jonathon our host for the day was great. We had the room upstairs all set up with 6 wine glasses, and some fab cheeses. He took us through how we use our senses to determine wine, sight, taste and smell and then came the bit we were all looking forward to - the actual wine tasting. 3 whites first then 3 reds (no spoilers other than to say they were all excellent and one from a country I had not realised was a wine producer (and no its not France!)
£15 for nearly two hours this was great value and great fun We will be back with a different group of friends to try out some more and eat some excellent cheeses. Highly recommended.

Exploring Emsworth the other day we chanced upon a chalkboard advertising a wine bar and garden. Never one to walk by such a thing we popped in. It was delightful. Every glass is £5 and you get several to choose from. We had a lovely Albarino followed by a delicious Sauvignon. We also went for the bread, dips and olives for just £4- basic fare but in beautiful courtyard surroundings, delicious! The owner was a pleasure to chat to. Thank you for a lovely hour or two!

This place has the most amazing old floorboards on the ground floor, and a lovely bijou courtyard garden - so it feels just right when you walk in. Couple this with knowledgable management and an excellent and varied array of wines, beers, and cigars, plus an upstairs room which is slowly being developed, and you have somewhere you can either spend time or leave someone to spend time whilst you explore the shops nearby.

Jonathan is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Emsworth residents, like us, are lucky to have so many good food shops, and now we have an independent wine shop right in town.

This small local business has more to offer than you might at first imagine.
Yes it sells a good selection of wines from England, Europe and beyond, plus local craft beers and spirits.
It also hosts tastings you can book for groups of friends, arranges tastings and local vineyard tours and wine courses.
It's a small space but relaxed and friendly and the staff are happy to talk about wine, provide advice. You can even arrange for the owner Jonathan to host a tasting event at your home. It's a great addition to Emsworth's retail offerings and deserves your support
