Lee Valley Park Farms in Waltham Abbey, Essex are just the best kind of fun when it comes to a great value family day out. There are cuddly sheep, giant rabbits, rare breed pigs, long-necked llamas and a loveable meerkat family to meet. You can hit the heights on the giant bouncy pillow, scale the Spider Tower or whizz down the slopes on our fantastic toboggan run. The lttle ones love riding on the combine harvester in Piglet's Paradise. Then take a short trip on a tractor trailer to our working dairy farm, where you'll meet the cows and learn all about life on a real farm.

Granny, parents and 3yo boy £40. A very modest lunch £25. Too expensive for what you get. Any animal farm with a local cafe in your area is better deal then this.

We visited the farm a few years back and it was a very good afternoon out, we went there again yesterday and was totally disappointed, most of the animal enclosures were empty and overgrown with nettles, the whole place just looks very tired and in...More

The Lee Valley Park Farm is a lovely day out, much better value and less crowded off peak. Can get over run with school parties though which often spoils it. Some areas are getting run down and there are trip hazzards on the walkways, but...More

Visited here for my daughters 2nd birthday. She absolutely loved it - great staff, great interactive sessions well set throughout the day, especially given we went on a weekday. Expect when my daughter is a couple of years older she'd be able to enjoy it...More

Clearly aimed at the family market, which is not what we wanted -- we came for Coda Falconry. Farm areas are probably interesting to kids, but of limited interest to "olds". Nice to see donkeys being well looked after and grazing happily. Cafe also disappointing;...More

Arrived this morning and was looking forward to a great day at the farm. Upon arrival the reception staff were rude and very disinterested. The farm was a real disappointment not many animals out to see. A few piglets and lambs with a goat, horse...More

The farm is awful! It took us around 15mins to see the farm. Most of the barns or fields were empty. The worst part was getting lunch. The food was simply awful and overpriced. Could not believe what they charged for an undercooked meal. The...More

Yes, dogs are welcome on the farm as long as they're well behaved and kept on a lead.
