In a beautiful setting with far reaching views, Snape Maltings is a world renown concert venue. We have recently seen superb solo performances there by the excellent soprano Danielle de Niese and also Britain's outstanding young violinist, Nicola Benedetti. Although not large or ornate, the...More

Always a magic experience of this wonderful concert hall set amongst the marshes and reed of the River Alde - especially on a warm summer evening, sublime. Concert was great to see someone we didn't know about which really challenged our cultural horizon - fantastic.

We were at one of the Proms. The hall can be quite hot in warm weather but the air flow has been improved over the years. The acoustic is excellent for a wide range of music but concerts with brass bands can be loud but...More

Went to a concert in the Snape Proms and it was superb. The acoustics in the concert hall are exceptional - we were in Row W and it sounded like we were in the front row!
