Great place for a walk or to wile away an hour or two watching the sea and the port activity and a good cafe as well.

so if the weathers too cold to be outside park the car up facing the sea and watch the world go by with a hot cup of tea .

Stumbled on this spot whilst visiting nearby Langard Fort. A modern cafe with decking overlooking the container port. The size of the container ships and the busy cranes loading and unloading will interest boys of all ages. Rather spoilt by too many dogs. The Harwich...More

I think is always worthy a visit, there is the big museum and if you get bored always Harwich
