We visited Arctic Husky Travellers to gain an insight into the life of a dog musher as this lifestyle is completely foreign to our part of the world (Australia). We were not disappointed. Tommy welcomed us into his home and was the perfect guide. It...More

We arranged a 3-days activity with this family-owned operator. It was our intro to the Arctic, started with a short dog-on-wheels ride (very interesting, can highly recommend as a summer activity), and followed with a two day trek through the valleys behind Longyearbyen - with...More

This is a dog mushing operation that takes up to 6 people out at a time. Run by a family and helpers that love dogs, the setting for lunch is comfortable in the owner’s home. Informative and a wonderful experience, any time of year I...More

We did the dog slitting trip with Tommy today and it was just awesome !! It is a family company and we can see that dogs are well treated and that they are really happy. We strongly recommend :)

Half the reason I came to Svalbard was to do a dog sled tour and I settled on (Arctic) Husky Travellers based on the fine reviews here, and because that this company is a small family run business offering personal service with a wealth of...More

Me and my son made a choice going with Husky Travellers because of the reviews here, the small size and hopefully more familiar feeling was what we were looking for. I don't know if my son enjoyed the dog sledge or just cuddle with the...More

I wish I could put into words the once in a lifetime experience this was! Bear with me (pun intended) First, this was not a company- this was a family. Toby was the sweetest, most knowledgeable man I have met. He had over 30 dogs...More

We highly recommend Tommy and his company Husky Travellers. We bring our 2-year-old baby (plus two small kids) with us to Svalbard so we need to take the trip really easy. Tommy is the only one willing to take the baby on board. The others...More
