Visited this place on the way to Pondicherry from Chennai. We saw a variety of migratory birds. There is a nice walkway. You can enjoy viewing birds walking along the walkway. View from the watch tower is awesome.

Yes there is a facility to eat food which is brought from home. No restrictions in bringing your own food.
