The area falls under Indian AIrforce around 10 -12 kms from the city, necessary documentation are required, results in checking and that creates a long queue of cars especially during the peak season. The view was good.

The view from this place was quite good, but during the season time its not worth waiting for so long in the queue as certain numbers of cars are allowed to enter the main gate since this area is under the Air Force.

Nothing much to say. But this place undoubtedly offers best panoramic views of the city. Spend half an hour. Click good selfies and pics. Eat and drink snacks and head for next venue.

Located inside an Indian airforce campus, provides an excellent view of Shillong city on a sunny day. Visitors must carry a valid id proof, that must be deposited at the campus entry to be collected while returning. Visitors holding foreign passport are not allowed here.

Hi, I have read through the various reviews of this attraction here and one reviewer mentions that the gates close at around 15:30 hrs for entry of visitors. Yet another person says that Shillong looks beautiful under lights from this view point (I guess this person meant evenings - late evenings) I would like to know as to when does the gate open for entry of tourists? And when does one need to vacate the place after entering before 15:30 hrs, as one mentions? And any entry fees? Has anyone visited this place early mornings? Like 6 am or 7 am? This will help me a ton in planning my itinerary. Many have mentioned about Maggi and other stuff available to eat. Any outlets that offer other than Maggi? Like Aloo Parathas, Poori Subji, Sandwiches, Eggs, Bread Butter etc? Thanks in advance to all.
