Charlotte lake is one of the most spectacular attraction of Matheran hill station located 1km.away from the main market of Matheran.The angelic charlotte lake appears stunning particularly in rainy season.
Lake is near by to the market and gives you time to relax. Also there are two points near lake which gives you reason to visit it.

Its a nice lake...surrounded by trees & greenery. There was a temple & many eating outlets next to it. One of them had a table overlooking the lake. We ordered pithla bhakri & cheese maggi & chaach. The maggi was good...pithla just average...chaach too watery...More
Charlotte Lake is a beautiful lake located approx 3 kms from the main market in Matheran. It has big bridge like thing which famous for taking pics as entire lake can be seen in the background. It a couple point too nearby to visit.
I visited in dry season and this came to be very soothing site. Charlotte lake is from where whole Matheran gets water. This is on the way to Lords point, Cilia point and Pisarnath Mahadev temple
It is just opposite to suicide point and near the temple. Makes a great place to enjoy the evening...
A must visit when in Matheran. Spend your evening here. Beautiful romantic place.... Visit here specially in monsoons when the lake is amidst fog !!!!!
It was a very peaceful lake and people kept it very natural. Few small shops were there where you can have tea or coffee.
