There is nothing to see..Vehicles are stopped atleast one and half KM away from the main dam...After all the trouble of walking, nothing to see..Its better to go to Setti halli and see the old church.

Here the sunset is the best attraction,we were there for an evening,place has very good landscape and maintained river bank.Must see place if you are in Hassan.

The dam is full and it’s the best time to visit. The gates are open and you can experience the water gushing out of the dam now.

he Gorur Dam, which is also known as the Hemavathi Dam, is a beautiful and striking picnic spot that attracts tourists from all across the country.For security reasons they dont allow insde so going there is waste of time and money
